CIC- Collaborative Incubation Centre

CIC –NSAPD which is the Collaborative Incubation Centre of Nitte School of Architecture, Planning & Design in collaboration with MSME ,wants to become a role model in designing and translating the realizations of the full potential of Architecture, Planning and Design.

Establishment of Institution Innovation Council(IIC) in collaboration with AICTE

Under the directives of MHRD of Govt. of India, NITTE SAPD has established Institution Innovation Council (IIC) in collaboration with AICTE to systematically foster the culture of innovation and start-up ecosystem our institution to give multiple levels of support for the student innovators

We have been successful in setting up the IIC by nominating faculty and students in the council. Further, IIC-NSAPD is aiming towards –

• Conducting a series of Innovation & Entrepreneurship related activities round the year, in a structured and time bound manner to nurture the innovation and entrepreneurial skills and mindset among the interested students
• Encourage student innovators to participate in MIC driven initiatives such as Kapila, Yukti, NIC, NISP and various Hackathons.
• Mobilize the required resources and provide for seed funding to help students and faculty convert their ideas into demonstrable proof of concepts and working prototypes
• Make available the required pre incubation support for the budding student entrepreneurs aspiring to start business ventures / start-ups based on their innovative ideas.
