Main purpose of this course is to provide better understanding of policies and ultimately framing policies & master plan which helps in improving the living condition in a place. There is a lot of focus on data analysis and research. The variety of subjects covered & skills developed during the course will equip the candidates to venture into a number of allied fields. There is a lot of opportunity for planners in the government sector. Planners are employed by Development Authorities for making Master Plans, Land Use Plans, Development Plans etc. and their work scale is large.
